The second day of the Sartorial Club's Campania field trip took David beyond the realm of Neapolitan tailoring into the breathtaking beauty of the Amalfi Coast to experience “La Dolce Vita”.
As David’s adventure concluded with a scenic stroll through Ravello, Positano, Sorrento and a reflective evening in Naples, he came to appreciate that this TSC field trip celebrated not only sartorial splendor but the art of refined living itself.

After exploring the Renaissance charm of Florence and the elegance of Pitti, Janne and other Platinum members travels to Naples, the vibrant capital of Campania, rich in historical and architectural marvels.
Here, the Club delves into the world of Sartoria Napoletana, beginning with a visit to Sartoria Ciardi, where brothers Enzo and Roberto, second-generation master tailors, continue their father’s legacy. The journey continues to Cerrato Napoli, where Marco Cerrato and his family craft bespoke trousers with a blend of tradition and modernity. These visits highlight the meticulous craftsmanship and family heritage inherent in Neapolitan tailoring.
(4) Starlit Renaissance Evening
As Janne arrives at Villa San Michele for the Club’s Black Tie Dinner, his expectations are high. After a week of lively Pitti activities with the Club, this evening promises a unique and elevated experience.
Club members gather in the elegant former monastery, where the serene garden with its view of Florence sets a calming tone, providing the perfect setting for an aperitivo.
The evening proceeds with a four-course traditional Tuscan dinner at Ristorante San Michele, held under the Renaissance loggia. This starlit evening, filled with wine, laughter, and conversations, deepens the connections among members. "The pinnacle of Pitti 106 week," Janne concludes.
(3) Fortezza with the Club
David recounts his experience at Pitti Uomo #106 with the Sartorial Club by highlighting the camaraderie among members during morning meetups at the Caffé degli Innocenti, the stylish walk to Fortezza da Basso, and the joy of being photographed in elegant attire.
The bustling atmosphere of Pitti, filled with enthusiasts and quality menswear, is contrasted with the serene Black Tie Dinner at Villa San Michele, offering a perfect blend of lively interactions and relaxed elegance.
(2) Rooftop Summer Gala
Gustav recapped the Sartorial Club’s Summer Gala, held on Monday evening and as the unofficial opening party of Pitti 106 week.
The rooftop garden provided a stunning backdrop for attendees in garden party attire. As Club founders welcomed guests and kicked off a speed dating session, Gustav found himself fostering meaningful connections with solo traveler Adam, a MTM specialist from Minnesota, to Pablo, a young Mexican tailor, Michael & Giso team’s different perspectives of Belgian and Dutch customers, and lastly, Dan and Isabel, Romanians with law background who changed their path into tailoring.
Under the Tuscan Sun: Prologue
Club co-founder Dennise fondly recalls her inaugural Pitti experience during the "pandemic summer," a moment that ignited the inspiration behind founding The Sartorial Club in 2022. Since then, the ethos of the Club, encapsulated in the spirit of "Network, Explore, Co-Create," has become the cornerstone of crafting member experiences for Pitti 106 and beyond.

Embark on a journey of resilience and reinvention with Fanny’s story: from international tax lawyer to the creator of Rue du Paradis lingerie. Witness her transformation as she defied convention, redefined beauty standards, and fostered inclusivity in the fashion world.
Driven by a passion for French lace and a commitment to authenticity, she navigated the challenges of entrepreneurship with determination and creativity. Through bespoke craftsmanship and intimate workshops, Rue du Paradis became a sanctuary of self-love, embracing diversity and individuality.
(3) Challenging Gender Norms
Iris’ love for classic and sartorial style began with childhood visits to European manors and period dramas like "Pride and Prejudice." Growing up in a small Finnish town, she noticed that society had strict gender norms. Despite feeling gender didn't limit her, adulthood revealed disparities like pay gaps and biased expectations. To challenge this, she co-founded The Pavonini, and leverage the brand's inclusive imagery promotes gender equality in fashion. Through the upcoming mtm suit collection for women, launched together with the brand Herrainpukimo, Iris seeks to break down the gender stereotypes and make classic style accessible to everyone.

The inspiration behind Micky came from noticing the superior quality, fit, and style of men's shirts compared to women's. After 20+ years in Pret-a-Porter, she connected with renowned Parisian bespoke shirt maker Daniel Lévy to create something unique: a design for women who seek a balance of luxury and comfort. By redefining the meaning of shirts, Micky offers timeless elegance with a modern touch, adopting a lifestyle that values quality, sustainability, and subtle sophistication.
